Richard Jacques Bonomo was born in 1946 and raised in and around New York. He studied zoology, chemistry, history and technical theater at the University of Wisconsin, packing four years of college into seven years. He did graduate work in biochemistry at New York Medical College and studied painting and other media at Purchase College, The Silvermine Art Center, and The National Academy School. Over the past forty years he has produced significant works in both art and science. His paintings have appeared in shows in Westchester, New York City, and Connecticut. He currently lives in Yonkers, New York and is pursuing an MFA degree at the New York Academy of Art.
